OMG

I'm so BHB..... Let me explain..

I've been practising "The Animals Were Gone" by Damien Rice on the guitar...alright, I know to most people it's an ultra easy peasy song, but for me it's a real personal challenge. I suck at plucking. I usually only strum. So this song is a tough nut for me to crack.

So anyway, I practised this song while I was having dinner last night, before I slept last night, when I woke up this morning and when I got home today....in total for almost (record-breakingly) 3 hours!!!! And after I learnt the lyrics just now, I recorded myself on the sound recorder function of windows.... I did that almost half an hour ago.

BHB!!

And I've been listening to my own shameless recording on loop for the past half an hour.

How BHB am I? :)

:D

But...but... I tink it's nice what!!!
*in true singlish accent*

P.S. For those who don't know what BHB aka "buay hiao bai" means... Its kinda like.. no shame and thick-skinned mixed together.... But I need a Hokkien speaker to clarify on my "explanation".

P.S.S. But just to redeem my face a little... actually there's a reason why I recorded myself. It was cos I wanted to play the song to Ev on Skype. But it was already 3am+++ over in Melbourne and his roommate is sleeping. So he said next time or I could record it and send it to him tmr. So I did record it. So maybe I'm not so BHB afterall??

Here's the real deal....From his latest album "9", this is "The Animals Were Gone" by Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan (is that a 3/4 guitar she's playing?! hehe..) and his band's cello and double bass player. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!!!!
