Yeap... I'm deciding to make a move after 3 years and 3 months with blogdrive...

But I'll make another announcement once I sort everything out at my new "place".

:)

My skin is so dry it looks something like this:

Argh! Except less orange and lighter.

Brought it upon myself..been too lazy to slap on any lotion/vaseline.

A few weeks ago, I bumped into this Chinese girl in the office toilet. We briefly introduced. Then this week, I bumped into an Indian lady. I said I'm from Singapore. She left in a jiffy and returned with that Chinese girl I met a few weeks back (they're from the other company on our level). Hah. So the Indian lady wanted to introduce us. Anyway, that girl's name is Fun (a chinese name actually). I went out with Fun 2 lunchbreaks... (more)

There's a Spanish restuarant called Las Maņas here in Antwerpen that I've dined at a few times during lunch.... guess around 6-8 times already. There's only 2 waiters there to take care of around 20 tables, a bartender and the boss...maybe one or two more floaties. It's not huge, but a fairly spacious restuarant/bar.

I kinda like the place. The food is yum. Think chickpea cabbage potato pork stew, thin pork chops grilled to perfection, aromatic mussels prawns clams calamari rice....hmm... :)

Meeeheheeee.... everytime I go there, I'm with the people from the company +/- client(s). And... (more)

For many years, I've avoided starting to use the acronym "lol" during my chats... I just think its weird "laugh out loud".........

But recently I've picked it up. Mainly influenced by Ev and Ling.

Lol.

I used to think "lol" is so disguisting.

Lol.

And I used to hate it when Jeff, my cousin living in the US uses it during our chats.

Lol.

Well...it is kinda irritating when you overuse it.

Lol....sorry

Meeehheeheee....

Do you remember the theme song for Mr Bean's shows? It's called Ecce Homo.... Listening to the version sung by "The Choirboys" now...

Today I view the new advertising material of the University of Melbourne. For those who don't know how emotional I am, while I was listening to the song in the advertisement, tears welled up in my eyes. I was THAT touched by the song. www.dreamlarge.edu.au

I'm so happy I webcamed with my dearest Fan... The last time I saw her was when she was returning to Indo via Sg.... We had yumcha with my family as a mini celebration for her birthday. Then I brought her to Orchard Road. I'm a bad tour guide. Considering I have been away from SG for the last 5+ years. She stayed for half a day I think... and flew to Indo in the evening... That was about 1.5 years already.

Oops... now I recall that wasn't the last time I saw her. It was last year, when fate decided to play with her again, brought her hopes high and crashed them down so mercilessly.... (more)

I'm so BHB..... Let me explain..

I've been practising "The Animals Were Gone" by Damien Rice on the guitar...alright, I know to most people it's an ultra easy peasy song, but for me it's a real personal challenge. I suck at plucking. I usually only strum. So this song is a tough nut for me to crack.

So anyway, I practised this song while I was having dinner last night, before I slept last night, when I woke up this morning and when I got home today....in total for almost (record-breakingly) 3 hours!!!! And after I learnt the lyrics just now, I recorded myself on the sound recorder function... (more)

Lazy = Convenient = Good

Those who are close to me would know that I am actually a very lazy
person. But sometimes laziness has its advantage. Take this for
example: I returned on Monday from my road trip with dad. My luggage
has been lying in front of the front door. I didn't bother unpacking
it. It still contained clean socks and undies, some t-shirts, a clean
unused towel, shampoo, soap....... So right now, late Thursday night,
I'm supposed to pack for my trip to Hamburg which is tomorrow (Friday)
1st thing in the morning (leaving the house at 5.50am). So what a good
thing I didn't bother unpacking the... (more)

that Lisa is ending her professional career with Damien.... WHY!?!?! WHYYYYYY..... Their voices work like magic together, her voluptuous singing blending in beautifully with Damien's slightly rustic rugged voice. Nevermind... have to respect her decision to work on her own material. Well...speaking of which, I should be looking forward to what these two artistes would come up with without the complement of the other.

Lucky I went to see Damien Rice Live in Feb.....in melb

One of my favourite songs of all time......deeply touching and haunting...resonates in my mind long after the song... (more)

Ironing pa's shirts

So here I am..........ironing pa's shirts.... The water spray thing on the iron isn't working...so I'm like flicking water onto the clothes...and somehow, I flick hard..and use my whole wrist and arm action. Cos with a stronger swing, the droplets are smaller. And it's starting to get sore.. So I'm taking a break by blogging..

The very simple things I take for granted. Today, I would like to thank the person who thought of combining the iron with the water spray. You have provided a lot of convinience to people world wide. God bless you!

Did you know: "Metal pans filled with charcoal were... (more)
